Turner earns her Second MWC honor
Colorado Springs, CO -- Laura Turner earned her second Mountain West Conference honor this past weekend, for her performance at Pre-Nationals. The senior from Clifton, California placed fourth (out of 252 runners) in the women's 6K event with a time of 20:30.7.
"She pounded it out and ran a solid race," said women's head coach Patrick Shane.
Turner helped guide the 12th ranked Cougars to a fifth place finish at Pre Nationals and now has her sites set on another MWC Championship, as the Cougars travel to San Diego, California on October 30th for the MWC Cross Country Championships.
