LAWRENCE, Kansas - BYU's Matt Poulsen finished in 86th place at the NCAA Cross Country Championship, Monday in Kansas.
Poulsen, the only Cougar runner competing in the men's race, finished the 10K course in a time of 31:58.30.
University of Utah senior Jeff Simonich was the highest-placing Utah runner at the national meet, finishing in 8th place with a time of 30:22.20.
Arkansas, Stanford and Colorado captured the first through third place team titles.
