Mantz Named WCC Runner of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference named BYU sophomore Conner Mantz WCC Runner of the Week on Tuesday.
Mantz won the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 21:12.3, 14 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. He paced the Cougar runners for the whole race before a strong kick in the last 800 meters.
An All-American as a freshman, Mantz finished 10th at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championship. He also was the runner up at last year’s WCC Championship.
