SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference named Rory Linkletter the WCC Runner of the Week for the week of October 15.

Linkletter won the Pre-Nationals Invitational men’s White race this past weekend with a meet-best time of 23:54.4, taking home an individual title from Pre-Nationals for the second year in a row. After sitting outside the top-15 with a kilometer left in the race, the All-American used a final kick to pass the lead pack meters before the finish line. The senior led No. 2 BYU to a dominant 29-point victory and its second-straight Pre-Nationals win.

Last weekend marks the fourth individual title Linkletter has won in his collegiate cross country career and he has finished in the Cougars’ top-5 in each race he’s competed in this season. He received All-America honors in 2017 after finishing 39th overall at the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
