Andrew Stewart - Men's Volleyball - Senior - Sandy, Utah

Senior Andrew Stewart recorded his 11th and 12th matches this season with double-digit kills after helping lead the Cougars to a weekend sweep over UC San Diego last weekend. Coming off a bye week, Stewart had 18 kills on Friday, including six in the final set. With 14 kills and 10 digs on Saturday, he earned his fifth double-double of the season. His .619 attack percentage also marked a season-high.

Robbie Fillmore - Men's Golf - Senior - Salt Lake City, Utah

Senior Robbie Fillmore helped the Cougars get the spring golf season off to a great start as he tied for third place at the John Burns Invitational. He posted the best BYU round of the tournament with a 5-under-par 67 on the final day of the event to vault the Cougars into a third-place tie overall. He also shot a 68 in the second round after opening the tournament with an even-par 72 on day one. The third-place tie equals his best tournament finish since his sophomore year and is the 20th top-20 placement of his career.

Spencer Smith - Men's Tennis - Freshman - Salt Lake City, Utah

Spencer Smith had a great weekend going 2-0 in singles. Smith was one of only two Cougars to notch a victory against No. 24 Arizona in BYU's first loss of the season. The 9-1 Cougars bounced back Saturday with a 5-2 win over South Alabama. Smith partnered with Evan Urbina to clunch the doubles point with their victory at the No. 2 position. The freshman also earned another singles win to complete a 3-1 weekend.

Jimmer Fredette - Men's Basketball - Junior - Glens Falls, N.Y.

Jimmer Fredette led BYU to back-to-back road wins, 92-70 at Colorado State and 85-63 at Wyoming by posting averages of 29.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds while shooting .528 (19-36) from the field, .563 (9-16) from three and .917 (11-12) from the free throw line. Fredette posted 36 points, five rebounds, six assists and one steal at Colorado State while hitting 12-of-22 from the field, 6-of-10 from three and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. He hit a three to give the Cougars an early 5-3 lead. He added a layup to make it 7-3. He later assisted a three to give the Cougars a 17-8 advantage. He gave BYU a 10-point lead at 23-13 with a three. Fredette added a three-point play, a three and a jumper at the buzzer to give BYU a 38-28 halftime lead. He finished the half with 17 points. Fredette opened the second half with two threes and a jumper to give the Cougars a 48-35 lead. He added an assist and a layup to make it 52-37. Later Fredette assisted a three to make it 61-44 BYU. His three with 10:10 remaining make the score 72-51. Fredette finished the second half with 19 points and five assists. Against Wyoming Fredette had 22 points and four assists while hitting 7-of-14 from the field, 3-of-6 from three and 5-of-5 from the free throw line. Fredette hit a three to give BYU an 8-0 run. His two free throws and assist gave the Cougars a 25-13 lead. Wyoming got within eight late in the first half Fredette hit a three to make it 39-28. In the second half Wyoming cut the lead to seven but Fredette answered with a three to make it 45-35. He later assisted a three to give BYU its first 20-point lead at 62-51. He helped finish the Cowboys off with a three-point play, a three and a jumper. Fredette had 15 points and two assists in the second half.

Coriann Wood - Women's Basketball - Junior - Basin City, Wash.

Coriann Wood led all scorers with 18 vs. CSU on 2/17/20, was perfect from three point range making all four attempted. Wood’s 11 points vs. Wyoming are her 24th time to record double digits in her career, 14th time this season and they marked her third consecutive MWC game this season. She made three of her five three pointers and was perfect at the free throw line. One of her three’s came with 1:41 left in the game to give BYU a one-point, 47-46 lead after being down 44-46 to the Cowgirls. With 21 seconds left on the clock she secured the Cougars win at the free line making both to extend the BYU lead over Wyoming to five, 51-46. In the last two league games, she’s grabbed a total of 16 rebounds (eight in each). Wood ranks second on the team in points and in rebounds with 10.2 points and 5.4 boards per game coming off the bench. She has the team’s best three-point field goal percentage (.463, 37-80), and places second in field goals made with 88 and in three-point field goals made with 37 to date. In free throw percentage, she’s in third place (.762, 32-42), and she has the most blocked shots with 20 so far this year.
