Madie Gates
Mental Strength Coach


Responsibilities

  • Madie Gates was first a part of the BYU women's soccer staff as a volunteer assistant in 2019. In the fall of 2021, she was named the mental strength coach.

Soccer Career

  • Gates played in 74 games over four seasons for BYU totaling more than 2802 minutes. She recorded six goals, three assists, and 79 shots.
  • Gates played her high school soccer at Sky View High School and her club soccer for La Roca FC.
  • Gates was the former girls director of coaching for Utah Celtic FC and currently coaches the 2012 girls premier team.
  • Gates works for Doctor Manning’s company, The Fearless Mind.

Education

  • Gates graduated from BYU with a degree in family studies with minors in psychology and business. 

Personal

  • She married former BYU baseball player Riley Gates in 2018 and has a baby boy.
