TUSCON -- The BYU men's tennis team dropped its second consecutive road loss of the week losing to the Arizona Wildcats 7-0. The loss moves the Cougars to 1-7 on the season, while the Cats improve to 6-1.

The only win for BYU came when Eric Nyman and Nima Roshan defeated Paul Warkentin and Daniel Andrus in doubles 9-7. Chip Hand and Alonzo Medina barely lost their doubles match falling in a 9-7 decision.

The Cougars fought hard to stay in the match but each singles match was over in two sets for BYU. Nima Roshan nearly pushed his match against Colin O'Grady of Arizona to three sets, losing 7-6 at the end of the second set.

BYU will be back in Provo next week to host Boise State at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
