Born in Cleveland, Ohio ... parents are Russ and Cindy McAdams ... father placed fourth and fifth for the nation in wrestling for BYU in 1967 and 1968, respectively at 137 pounds ... her Uncle Mike also wrestled for BYU from 1967-70 and was an All-American ... sister, Christy, scored the first 10.00 for BYU Gymnastics in Spring of 1992, brother, Josh was an All-American, ran track for BYU from 2004-06, finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials and went on to represent the United States at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing, China ... enjoys sand volleyball, snowboarding, rock climbing, watching movies, reading, bowling and dancing ... majoring in business marketing.

Before BYU

Competed in both cross country and track ... was a four-time Division I State qualifier; Team MVP 2005 to 2008 in cross country ... in track had personal best in the 1600m of 5:08, 2:17.5 in the 800m, 11:48.6 in the 3200m; was team MVP 2006 to 2008, State qualifier in 2006 in the 1600m -placed eighth with 5:08.
