One of the best pitchers in BYU softball history, Christie Zinanti's name is all over the BYU pitching records. She broke many records during her time as a Cougar. Zinanti was a consistent all-MWC player. In 2009, she won MWC Pitcher of the Year. She has one solo no-hitter and one combined no-hitter to her name, both coming in 2009.   • Struck out a career-best 11 batters on three different occasions against the University of Kansas on Feb. 20, North Dakota on March 28 and the UNLV Rebels on April 17
  • Threw 10 innings aainst Ball State in the Cougars' 5-4 victory
  • Threw a complete game no hitter March 28 against North Dakota
  • Named MWC Pitcher of the Week twice
  • Set a personal single-season best with 207 strikeouts
