Born in Inglewood, Calif....parents are Terry and Marlene...majoring in sociology and Spanish...hobbies include playing the guitar, surfing, weightlifting and playing soccer...served an LDS mission in Lima, Peru.
Before BYU
League MVP in 1992 at Esperanza High School...first-team all-CIF in 1992 and 1993...team took league championship in 1991, 1992 and 1993...took first in state in 1993...voted to Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 in 1993.
