Born in Escondido, Calif....parents are Jay and Nedra Bunker...majoring in pre-medicine...served an LDS mission in Madrid, Spain...father played on the BYU basketball team (1971-73)...mother was a Cougarette and song leader at BYU (1969-72)...enjoys playing the piano, guitar, cooking, snowboarding and wakeboarding...an Eagle Scout.

Attended Orange Glen High School...high school team MVP...first-team all-league...scholar athlete...also played basketball.
