- Awarded the MWC Sportsmanship of the Year Award for his actions on and off the court

2005-2006
- Began season on a four-match winning streak
- Played No. 1 singles for BYU and posted a 10-17 regular season record
- Competed against players ranked Nos. 3, 13, 60, 67 and 96 during the season
- Also took responsibilities at No. 1 doubles with partner Jose Lechuga, going 12-10 and 15-11 over all during the regular season
- Selected to compete in the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships where he went 2-1 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles competition with partner Dominik Kaufhold
- Named MWC Player of the Week for his play in the ITA Regional Championships where he defeated No. 60 Eric Molnar of Colorado 6-4, 6-1

2006-2007
- Ranked No. 85 in the nation at the start of the fall season tallied a team best 8-2 singles record and 6-2 doubles record in the fall, playing No. 1 in both
- Was invited to participate in the Polo Ralph Lauren Mens all-American Championships where he went 1-1 in singles and 0-1 in doubles with Dominik Kaufhold
- Competed most of the spring season at No. 1 singles and doubles
- Won MWC Player-of-the-Week Honors for a come-from-behind victory over No. 19 Adam Holmstrom of Denver
- Recorded other notable wins over Texas No. 1 singles player, Dimitar Kutrovsky, No. 40 Zach Ganger of Utah, and the MWC Player of the Year, No. 44 Marcus Dickhardt
- In doubles competition, beat Dickhardt and Groh of SDSU once in the regular season and once in the MWC tournament when the duo was ranked Nos. 14 and 22
- Finished the season with a No. 77 singles record with a spring singles record of 14-12 and spring doubles record of 12-12
- Tallied a 21-14 overall singles record and an 18-14 overall doubles record
- Received All-MWC honors in both singles and doubles
- Awarded the teams Player of the Year award from head coach Brad Pearce
