Freshman Year 2003-2004

  • Played well as a true freshman for the Cougars at the two and three singles spot
  • Had some big wins over tough opponents
  • Ended the season with a 20-14 singles record
Sophmore Year 2004-2005

  • Hand was absolutly dominate in his sophmore year
  • Had a ten-match winning streak during the regular season

  • Teamed up with freshman Shane LaPorte to go 13-7 in doubles
Junior Year 2005-2006

  • Compiled a 16-12 record during the regular season, including ten-straight victories to end the season and help the Cougars make their run at the MWC Championship
  • All ten of those wins were in straight sets, and 15 of his 16 total victories came in straight sets
  • Played one thrilling match at No. 1 singles against Weber State's Sascha Kiehne, relying on his serve to make a comeback and take the match in a tiebreaker
  • Played majority of doubles in the No. 2 position with Jonathan Sanchez where the duo went 8-9 during the regular season
Senior Year 2006-2007

  • Went 5-2 in singles competition and 6-3 in doubles with Jonathan Sanchez during the fall season reached quarterfinals for the Wilson/ITA Mountain Regional Championships
  • Barely missing the semifinals by two games
  • Reached quarterfinals of three fall singles tournaments
  • Became the first to win ten matches in the spring season
  • Recorded longest winning streak on the team in singles competition with 10 in a row spanning over more than one month
  • Recorded marquis win over No. 85 Milan Mihailovic (Texas) as part of the streak
  • Played No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles for most of the season, but played as high as No. 1 and finished the season at No. 2
  • Tallied the best singles record on the team at 18-9 in the spring and 23-11 on the year
  • Doubles record in the spring was 17-9 and 23-12 overall
  • Received a Coachs Award for the best win/loss record on the team
