Eaton out for the season
BYU women’s basketball head coach Jeff Judkins announced today that sophomore guard/forward Lexi Eaton suffered a season-ending ACL injury to her right knee during Tuesday’s home game vs. Utah State.
Eaton, a 5-foot-10 guard/forward, was averaging 15.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. She had scored in double figures in the first eight games of the season.
“It is hard to replace a player like Lexi who is your current leading scorer,” said Judkins. “We know she’ll work hard to get back and she will have our complete support.”
