Parker, Hamson Garner WCC Academic Honors

BYU sophomores Kim Parker and Jennifer Hamson have been named to the 2012 West Coast Conference Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.

Parker, from Heber City, Utah and Wasatch High School, has a 3.78 GPA in school health. Hamson, who prepped at Pleasant Grove High School and hails from Lindon, Utah is studying exercise science and has a 3.70 GPA.
