Parker Named WCC Player of the Week
BYU’s Kim Paker has been named WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for February 13, announced the league office.
Parker, a 5-foot-10 sophomore guard from Heber City, Utah and Wasatch HS, scored a game-high 16 points in the 70-40 win over No. 18 Gonzaga last Thursday. She was perfect from the free throw line going 3-for-3 while adding five rebounds, four assists and one steal in BYU's only game last week.
The double figures in points were the sixth in league play, the 16th of the year and the 21st of her career.
The award is the second for Parker this season.
