Paisley Harding wins WCC Player of the Week Award
SAN MATEO, Calif. – BYU senior guard Paisley Harding was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball on Monday for the second time this season.
Harding finished off a 3-0 week for the No. 16 Cougars with a 30-point performance against San Francisco on Saturday afternoon. Harding went 11 of 17 from the field, including tying a career-best with five 3-pointers. It was her second 30-point game this year after posting a career-high 33 at Utah earlier this season.
The senior also filled the stat sheet with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals against San Diego to start the week in a rare Monday night game. She added 11 points Thursday against Santa Clara.
Harding is No. 5 in the WCC in scoring at 16.5 points per game. This is her second WCC Player of the Week award after winning it Nov. 22.
Up next, BYU (18-1, 8-0) plays at Portland on Thursday, Feb. 3.
