PROVO, Utah – For the second time this season, BYU women's basketball is ranked No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 released Monday––the program's highest ranking in school history.

BYU (15-1, 5-0) was ranked No. 16 earlier this season on Dec. 6 and matched the spot again with Monday's latest poll. It also marks the ninth-consecutive week the Cougars have been ranked, matching the school's best nine-consecutive appearances in 2006, including a No. 22 final ranking.

Head coach Jeff Judkins' squad is No. 9 nationally in scoring margin at 18.6 points and No. 12 in scoring offense at 78.4 points per game, both good for best in the West Coast Conference.

The Cougars host San Diego in a rematch of Saturday's contest in California. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. MT Monday night at the Marriott Center. The game will be televised on BYUtv.
