PROVO, Utah— With a 17-3, 9-0 record, the BYU women’s basketball team broke into this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll, coming in at No. 25.

The Cougars are currently on an 11-game win streak and are atop the standings in the West Coast Conference regular-season race.

The last time BYU was in the Associated Press Top 25 was back on Feb. 13, 2012, when they were ranked No. 23.

The Cougars’ 11-game win streak ties for third longest in program history. BYU had a 16-game win streak during the 2015-16 season and a 12-0 run during the 2010-11 campaign. In 2005-06 they went on an 11-0 run.

BYU travels to southern California this week for WCC games at LMU on Thursday, Jan. 31, and at Pepperdine on Saturday, Feb. 2.
