SAN BRUNO, Calif.— Senior Makenzi Pulsipher was named to the 2016-17 West Coast Conference Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, announced the league office Tuesday.

The honor is the second for Pulsipher. She has a 3.51 GPA in recreation management. During her sophomore season, Pulsipher received a WCC Women’s Basketball All-Academic Honorable Mention citation.

Senior Kristine Nielson was named 2016-17 WCC Women’s Basketball All-Academic Honorable Mention. It is the third honor for Nielson, who has a 3.36 GPA in exercise and wellness.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport.  To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
