SAN BRUNO, Calif.— Six BYU women’s basketball student-athletes were selected to the West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2015-16 academic year.

Kylie Maeda, Makenzi Morrison Pulsipher, Kristine Fuller Nielson, Jasmine Moody, Lexi Eaton Rydalch and Cassie Broadhead earned Bronze Honors (3.49-3.00).

During her BYU career, Maeda was named to the list each year, picking up one Silver Honor (3.74-3.50) accolade and three bronze honors.

The honor is the second for Pulsipher and is the third straight for Nielson. Moody along with Broadhead pick up their first citations, while it is the fourth for Rydalch. She was on the Silver Honor Roll (3.74-3.50) her freshman year.

The WCC recognized more than 1,000 student-athletes for the fifth-consecutive year from 10 schools for balancing academic excellence and athletic success. More than 1,300 athletes qualified for the award this year, establishing a conference record for the third-straight season.

To be named to the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, student-athletes must have earned a varsity letter in a sport where the WCC crowned a champion in the 2015-16 season while maintaining a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher and completing an average of 12 graded credit hours per term.
