Rydalch, Pulsipher among four Cougar women garnering WCC academic accolades
SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Senior Lexi Eaton Rydalch and junior Makenzi Morrison Pulsipher were named to the 2015-16 West Coast Conference Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, announced the league office on Friday.
The honor is the second for Rydalch and the first for Pulsipher. Rydalch has a 3.25 GPA in psychology and Pulsipher has a 3.42 GPA as a recreation management major.
Senior Kylie Maeda and junior Kristine Fuller Nielson were named 2015-16 WCC Women’s Basketball All-Academic Honorable Mention. This is the third honor for Maeda and the second for Nielson. Both are exercise and wellness majors and have 3.46 and 3.35 GPA’s, respectively.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
