BYU Game Notes vs. Weber State
PROVO, Utah—After an eight-point upset win over No. 11 Texas A&M in the final game of the 2015 Tom Weston Classic in Laie, Hawaii, the Cougar women (6-3) return to the state of Utah for two in-state rival games this week.
BYU will head to Ogden on Thursday, Dec. 10, for a matchup against in-state foe Weber State (6-1) in a 7 p.m. tip. The game against the Wildcats can be heard live on BYU Radio on Sirius XM 143 and on the Internet at byuradio.org/listen.
On Saturday, the Cougar women host in-state rival Utah in the Deseret First Duel between the two schools. The game vs. the Utes tips at 2 p.m., and will air live on BYUtv.

BYU has three players that are scoring in double figures. All-American senior guard Lexi Eaton Rydalch leads the way with 22.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Junior Makenzi Morrison Pulsipher follows with 12.4 points. All-American Kalani Purcell, a junior college transfer, from Hutchinson Community College and Hamilton, New Zealand, is the third player scoring in double digits with 10.9 points and with a team best 12.2 rebounds is averaging a double-double.
The Cougars are scoring 67.3 points per game, shooting 41 percent from the field, 70 percent from the free throw line and 35 percent from 3-point range.

ABOUT WEBER STATE
Weber State has compiled a 6-1 record and is coming off back-to-back wins over North Texas and Stephen F. Austin.
The Wildcats return four letterwinners and two starters from last year’s team that went 11-18 and finished tied for 10th place in the Big Sky Conference. Weber State was picked to finish in 10th place in this year’s league race.
Kailie Quinn and Regina Okoye lead the way for the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 12.6 and 11.7 points per game, respectively. The team’s leading rebounder is Jocelyn Adams, who pulls down 7.3 boards a contest.
As a team, Weber State is scoring 58.1 points per game while shooting 39 percent from the field, 58 percent from the free throw line and 30 percent from behind the arc.

Series History
BYU leads the series 42-9. In Ogden, the Cougars have a 16-7 record. The last time BYU won in the Dee Events Center was on 12/10/13, a 90-85 victory after the Cougars were down by 18, 56-38 at halftime. The win improved BYU’s record to 9-0 on the year, the best start in program history. The last time BYU lost in the Dee Events Center was on 12/9/09, a one-point, 62-61 two overtime periods loss.
What’s Next
After Thursday’s game at Weber State, the Cougar women round out their nonconference schedule hosting in-state Utah on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m.
