Hamson to participate in USA National Team training camp

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Former Cougar basketball All-American Jennifer Hamson has been selected as one of 27 women's basketball players to participate in the USA Basketball Women's National Team training camp, May 4-6 at UNLV's Mendenhall Center in Las Vegas.

She is among three players who are participating in their first ever USA Basketball National Training Camp. From the group, 12 players will be selected to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games, held Aug. 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Hamson is currently in her first season with the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
