Hamson nominated for State of Sport Award

SALT LAKE CITY – Senior Jennifer Hamson has been nominated for a 2014 Governor’s State of Sport Award.

The awards celebrate Utah’s sports community and honors excellence in high school, amateur, collegiate, Olympic and professional sports for the 2013 calendar year and is voted on by fans.

Voting takes place by visiting stateofsportawards.com and selecting Jennifer Hamson in the College Female Athlete category. Fans may vote once every 24 hour period per device.

Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert will provide remarks and present the awards on Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. MDT in Energy Solutions Arena.
