SAN BRUNO, Calif. –Seniors Kim Beeston and Jennifer Hamson have been named to the 2013-14 West Coast Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday. Ten student-athletes were put on this year’s list.

The honor is the third straight for both of BYU’s seniors. Beeston has a 3.64 GPA and is majoring in public health, while Hamson has a 3.51 GPA in exercise science.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport.  To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his or her team.

Lexi Eaton, Ashley Garfield and Kylie Maeda were named WCC Women's Basketball All-Academic Honorable Mention.
