Cougars head to Colorado for Intermountain Shootout
PROVO, Utah – The BYU swim and dive teams will travel to Grand Junction, Colorado, to participate in the Intermountain Shootout hosted by Colorado Mesa University on Oct. 1-2 at El Pomar Natatorium.
The invitational will include nine women's teams and five men's. BYU swimmers and divers will compete against Adams State, Air Force, Colorado Mesa, Colorado Mesa Club Team, Colorado State, CSU Pueblo, Dixie State, and Northern Colorado. The invitational will be scored in a dual meet format, with results including a dual score (totaled over both days) against each opponent.
A total of 44 events will be featured in the meet. Diving competitions will be held concurrently with swimming events. A meet information packet can be found here for the complete event schedule.
Friday’s meet will kick off at 5 p.m. MDT, while Saturday’s competition will begin at 10 a.m. MDT. Colorado Mesa currently has a full-capacity attendance policy and admission is free. Live streaming can be found on the schedule page or at this link, and live stats can be found here.
