Stirling, Freeman earn MPSF/TYR Athlete of the Week

Stirling and Freeman win MPSF/TYR Athlete of the Week

SEATTLE – BYU swimmers Connor Stirling and Chloe Freeman earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and TYR Athlete of the Week after their performance against Utah. 

Senior Connor Stirling won the 100 free (44.83) and placed second in the 50 free (20.43) in the home meet vs. Utah this past weekend. This is Stirling's second career MPSF weekly award after collecting the award on Nov. 6, 2019. 

Chloe Freeman, a freshman, won the 500 free by nearly five full seconds (5:00.65) and placed second in the 100 fly (56.26) in the time trials meet against Utah. This is the first career MPSF award for Freeman.
