True Blue Season Premiere Tonight

PROVO, Utah — The first episode of True Blue will air tonight on BYUtv. The show enters its fifth season in 2011-12 and is hosted by Dave McCann. The weekly show will air Monday's at 6 p.m. (MT) and 8 p.m. (ET), with three rebroadcasts each week.

True Blue is a weekly magazine show that features the best of BYU Athletics including interviews with athletes and coaches, as well as highlights from the week in sports.

The 2011 season premier will recap BYU's Football Media Day, held July 12, and will preview the 2011 season as the Cougars head into fall camp. Also on the show, Jake Heaps and JJ Di Luigi make cameo appearances as True Blue reporters during media day.

Former BYU quarterback and current broadcaster, Blaine Fowler, will join the True Blue team this season as an analyst. Fowler will break down and preview upcoming games, while addressing other topics about BYU sports.
