Cougar Kickoff This Tuesday

PROVO, Utah (Aug. 15, 2009) BYU fans will have an opportunity to meet the 2009 teams at the Sixth Annual Cougar Kickoff presented by the Deseret News on Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Haws Field, located just west of the Indoor Practice Facility.

This annual event will give everyone an opportunity to meet and interact with the BYU football team, the women’s soccer and the women’s volleyball teams. Also joining the event will be the men’s and women’s cross country teams, and the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Fans can get autographs, participate in games with the athletes, win prizes from corporate partner booths, eat food, and listen to the live music from The Chavelles. The Cougar Club will be giving away a Bronze Level membership by signing up at the Deseret News and Cougar Club booths.

The popular cougar sale where attendees can purchase game-worn apparel, cleats, the 25th Anniversary t-shirt, and more will begin at 5:30 inside the Indoor Practice Facility. Everything is priced at a discounted rate. The 2009 Football poster and Game Day T-shirt will also be for sale.
