BYU receives #WCCRepresent Award
PORTLAND, Ore. – The 2019 West Coast Conference #WCCREPRESENT Award Winners have been announced as being presented to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC) of Brigham Young University and the University of the Pacific.
The #WCCRepresent Award recognizes efforts on campus to best support the #WCCREPRESENT initiative to enhance the student-athlete experience. These two institutions are being recognized for their dedication to being an amazing representation of their conference, their institution, their team and themselves.
The award was presented this week in conjunction with the Executive Council and Presidents' Council meetings at the Benson Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
ABOUT #WCCREPRESENT
The #WCCREPRESENT campaign is the West Coast Conference's sportsmanship campaign, which encourages the elevation of teams during competition rather than negative behavior. Since its launch in 2009, the #WCCREPRESENT campaign has transformed into a conference-wide celebration of WCC student-athletes' competitiveness, character and commitment to "representing" themselves both on and off the playing field.
