Pick the Game of the Year for the 2014 Y Awards

PROVO, Utah – The 11th annual Y Awards – hosted by the cast of BYUtv's Studio C – will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. MT in the Marriott Center. For the first time fans are welcome to attend (no tickets required) the Y Awards and it will be broadcast live nationally on BYUtv and BYUtv.org.

Another first this year is that fans can vote to determine the winner of a Y Award. To vote on the brand new "Game of the Year" award, use #Yawards on twitter as well as the specific game hashtag. See below for each game's specific hashtag.

Men’s Volleyball vs. UCLA (2013 MPSF Semifinals) – April 25, 2013

Despite trailing two sets to one and 7-1 in the fourth set BYU came back to beat UCLA in five sets to advance to the MPSF championship match led by Josue Rivera's 19 kills.

Women’s Soccer vs. Oklahoma – September 19, 2013

After trailing 2-0 with seven minutes left in the game to Oklahoma the Cougars scored three goals in five minutes to pull off an improbable comeback in front of 2,100 fans at South Field in Provo.

Women’s Volleyball vs. San Diego – September 20, 2013

Led by Alexa Gray's 10 kills BYU upset #2 San Diego in the West Coast Conference opener for the Cougars in three sets at home.

Football at Houston – October 19, 2013

BYU defeated Houston 47-46 in Reliant Stadium thanks to 681 yards of total offense. Taysom Hill threw for 417 yards and 4 touchdowns and also ran for 128 yards becoming the seventh player in FBS history to throw for 400+ and rush for 100+ in a single game.

Women’s Basketball vs. Gonzaga – February 15, 2014

After losing 68-42 in Spokane BYU bounced back in Provo with a 62-52 win over #15 Gonzaga led by Jennifer Hamson's 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

Men’s Basketball vs. Gonzaga – February 20, 2014

The Cougars snapped a 5-game losing streak to WCC rival Gonzaga in the Marriott Center 73-65 led by Anson Winder's 17 points and the Cougars 34 bench points.
