I was a student intern for 1976, then assumed the full-time job of assistant sports information director in August 1977. Was promoted to associate director in 1979.
Career Highlights
Recipient of the CoSida Lifetime Achievement Award (2018) and the 42nd annual Wilbur Snypp Award (2016) for contributions to college baseball presented by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Inducted to Cheyenne East High School Hall of Fame, 2004. 1999 Elmore (Scoop) Hudgens Sports Information Director Award by All-American Football Foundation. Indonesian language teacher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Language Training Mission, spring of 1976. Sportswriter for the Laramie Daily Boomerang, 1971-72.
