Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...attended Dr. E. P. Scarlett High School...parents are John and Carol Craig...has three brothers and three sisters.
Before BYU
Three-time letterwinner in basketball, cross country and volleyball...two-year letterwinner in track...named basketball conference Player of the Year as a senior after leading the Lancers to a 27-3 record and a 4A provincial title...in that title game she finished with 18 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and six steals...named MVP of the Alberta Shooting Stars all-star game...led the team to city championships in 2000 and 2002..was the school's Athlete of the Year from 1998-2002...played 12 years of club basketball...starting guard for the Alberta Juvenile Provincial club team that won a bronze medal at the Canadian National Champs in 2001...in track she was an 800-meter provincial champion and two-time provincial high jump champion...is also the school record holder in both the 1,500 meter and high jump.

At Sacramento State: Played two seasons for the Hornets, starting in 21 of 25 games her freshman year ...averaged 12.2 points and 4.8 rebounds...ranked 12th in the Big Sky Conference in scoring...ranked sixth in the conference in steals with 1.84 per game...named to the Big Sky all-Academic team...scored at least 10 points in 20 of 25 contests...had two double-doubles during her freshman years. In her sophomore year, started in 15 of 24 games... shooting an average of 5.2 points and 3.0 boards...was the team's fourth leading scorer and rebounder.
