BYU women's tennis hosts University of Denver Saturday
PROVO, Utah – BYU women's tennis continues the 2019-20 season with its second-straight home match. The Cougars host the University of Denver Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. MDT.
The match will be played on BYU’s indoor tennis courts.
BYU (5-2) is coming off a come from behind victory over Northern Arizona, where freshman Helen Jiao clinched the 4-3 win in three sets in her No. 5 singles match. The Cougars No. 1 doubles team of Leah Heimuli and Kate Cusick Truman look to add to their 6-1 record.
The University of Denver is 7-2 on the season coming off a big upset win over No. 25 South Carolina. They come to Provo with a three-match win streak. The Cougars have a 8-8 overall record against the Pioneers and are 5-3 at home.
In last year’s match in Denver, the Pioneers came away with the 5-2 victory.
