Match with UNLV Ends Early

PROVO, Utah (April 5, 2003) ˆ The BYU men‚s tennis team improved its Mountain West Conference record on Saturday by beating UNLV 4-1. The win moves the Cougars to 2-1 in conference play and 8-10 overall.

BYU won the doubles point by sweeping all three doubles matches. In singles, the Cougars were up 3-1 when the match was called, leaving the matches at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots unfinished.

The Cougars will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Colorado Springs to take on Air Force on Friday and New Mexico on Saturday. BYU will then have a week off to prepare for the MWC tournament, which will be held at BYU April 24-26.
