Most Impactful Strength & Coaches by Silver Waves Media

PROVO, Utah – Erick Schork has been named one of the most impactful strength & conditioning coaches in college athletics by Silver Waves Media.

The list compiled by athletic directors, coaches and panel of sports professionals consists of 50 strength & conditioning coaches, who are regarded as the best in the country and continue to make a positive impact on their sports programs. In order to be considered for the list, the coaches must be active at a Division I institution across any sport.

Schork, who was hired as the strength & conditioning coach for BYU men’s basketball in 2016, has over 26 years of NCAA and professional experience. He was named Master Strength & Conditioning Coach by the CSCCA, the highest honor in the profession, in 2013.

During his time in Provo, Schork has overseen every aspect of training for a Cougar program that has gone 133-62 (.682) including five 20-win seasons and a trip to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. He has worked with a pair of All-Americans and eight all-conference players including the likes of Elijah Bryant, Eric Mika, TJ Haws, Jake Toolson and Alex Barcello.
