Sophmore Year 1999

A member of the NCAA National Championship team...Named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Conference second-team...Earned AVCA National Player-of-the-Week honors on March 1 after leading the Cougars to two straight 3-0 wins over UCLA...Hit .650 with 15 kills on 20 swings and added seven blocks in match one and produced 17 kills and a .625 hitting percentage in the second match against the Bruins...During that week, Wilson hit .636 and averaged 5.3 kills, 1.83 blocks and 1.17 digs per game...ranked fourth in the nation with a .470 hitting average on the season and ranked third nationally with 1.84 blocks per game...posted a .349 average at the net against nationally-ranked opponents...posted double-figures in kills in seven of the Cougars' final 15 matches and collected 10 or more blocks in four matches on the season, including a season-high 13 against USC.

Missed first 11 matches of the season due to a broken finger...earned All-MPSF Honorable-Mention honors...played in 44 games...averaged 2.89 kills per game, recorded 127 kills on 235 attempts (.404)...ranked second on the roster, averaging 1.91 blocks per game...produced 84 blocks on the season...registered three 10-block performances, including a season-high 13 blocks against Loyola Marymount (Feb. 11) in his first match of the season...collected 47 kills in his first three matches of the season, averaging 4.2 kills per game...tallied a season-high 20 kills against USC (Feb. 18).
