Freshman Year

Sophmore Year 1956-1957

One of the better athletic prospects at BYU, Cravens is great ball handler, has great speed. With little more fire power, he could be great guard. He is first class rebounder, too. Cravens played all sports as prep in San Diego, is reputed to be outstanding baseball pitcher. 

Junior Year 1957-1958

Soon after practice started this year, Jack was shifted from guard to forward and the change has been judged a good one. Jack is an outstanding ball handler, has exceptional speed and is one of teams better rebounders. Jack was all-around athlete at La Jolla High School in San Diego, lettered in three sports.
