One of three Arizona High School athletes named to the United Dairymen's All-American team ... helped lead St. David HS to two state championships in football ... a two-time championship game MVP ... led team to 22 straight victories over two seasons ... undefeated as a junior and senior ... completed 21 touchdown passes as a senior with only three interceptions ... ran for 739 yards and 15 touchdowns ... also had two touchdown receptions ... had 117 tackles, three interceptions and two defensive touchdowns ... led team to the state basketball championship as a junior ... scored 26 points with 18 rebounds in the championship game ... a member of the state champion 4x100-meter relay team.
