An honor roll student at Brighton High School ... a three-year letterwinner in football ... also lettered in basketball ... named Prep Star magazine All-Midland Region selection ... a National Recruiting Center first-team All-American ... started at both linebacker and tight end ... recorded 39 solo tackles and 61 assisted takedowns as a senior ... had 2 sacks and 9 tackles for a loss ... credited with 16 receptions for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns as a tight end ... a three-time all-region selection ... twice earned all-state honors ... a USA Today all-state honorable mention selection.
Participated in the first four games during the season ... suffered a season-ending injury against Stanford.
