Career Summary

Christian Stewart came to BYU as an All-Conference player from Snow College. He played in 12 games, one as a junior and 11 as a senior, and was the starting quarterback in eight games. He is ranked 11th all-time among BYU quarterbacks for consecutive pass attempts without an interception. As a senior, Stewart recorded a total of 25 touchdowns through the air on 2,621 passing yards with a 57.2 percent completion rate. He also led the Cougars in passing during his senior season and was sixth on the team in rushing. He helped BYU to a No. 14 national ranking in scoring offense and No. 15 in first down offense in 2014. He received both national and All-Independent recognition.   • Completed his first pass at BYU and wen on to throw for 172 yards on 10 for 29 passing in a little over half the game vs Utah State 
  • Threw 22 of 37 for 153 yards, three touchdowns and one pick and rushed for a career-high 52 yards on 13 carries, including a long of 20 against UCF in first start of BYU career
  • Tallied career highs in completions (39), attempts (63), passing yards (408) and touchdown passes (4) against Nevada
  • Recorded his first rushing TD of the year (2-yard run) and ended the game throwing 23 for 38 with 259 yards, one pass TD and one interception
  • String of consecutive pass attempts without an interception ended at 110, ranking 11th all-time among BYU quarterbacks
  • Accounted for 321 yards of total offense and three touchdowns(2 pass, 1 rush) while achieving a 135.9 rating on 28-of-45 passing to lead BYU to the win against Middle Tennessee
  • Ended the game with 325 yards through the air on 18-of-32 passing and three touchdowns in the 42-23 win against UNLV
  • Against Savannah State he threw for four touchdowns on 12-of-17 passing with 196 yards and rushed for his third and fourth touchdowns on the year for 44 yards on five carries before leaving the game in the second quarter with a 42-0 BYU lead
  • Threw 23 for 38 with career highs of 433 yards and five touchdowns in 42-35 win over Cal
