Was first team All-Mission Conference at Cerritos JC in Norwalk...was a first team Academic All-American...played for his father, Frank Mazzotta (Utah).
Participated in spring drills...started on special teams...made a touchdown saving fumble recovery vs. Notre Dame after a BYU turnover at the team's own six-yard line...rotated into the secondary lineup after Derwin Gray was injured at Air Force...held for field goals in the Aloha Bowl when Joe Herrick was injured.
