  • Played in 12 games, started seven.
  • Finished the season as BYU's fourth-leading tackler with 43 (23 solo, five for loss), 3.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.
  • Led BYU in sacks with 3.5.
  • Named to Pro Football Network's All-Independent Second Team Defense.
  • Posted a career and season-high in tackles (eight) vs. UAB.
  • Recorded fifth sack of his career for a loss of 17 yards in a 24-16 win over Arizona. 
  • Recorded first career forced-fumble in a 34-20 win over Utah State.
Sophmore Year 2022

  • Played in and started 12 games, team co-captain
  • Finished the season as BYU's fifth-leading tackler with 52 (29 solo), seven tackles-for-loss, two sacks, four quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery
  • Recorded first-career fumble recovery in 31-28 win over Boise State.
