Parents are LeGrande and Sherry...father led BYU in rushing and total offense in '59 with over 400 yards...brother, Steve, is a former BYU All-American now playing quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers...great-great-great grandson of Mormon Colonizer Brigham Young...served an LDS mission to Honduras ('83-'84)...married to the former Shayne Robert...recruited by Princeton, Utah, Utah State, Arizona, Syracuse and Boston College...majoring in business.

Freshman Year 1982

Shared jayvee quarterback duties with Bob Jensen and Jeff Wilcox.

Sophmore Year 1985

Played in two junior varsity games and completed 32 of 52 passes for 478 yards and five touchdowns before being sidelined with a broken collarbone...had 404 yards passing against the Air Force jayvee.

Junior Year 1986

Played as a backup...threw a 37-yard TD pass vs. Washington...suffered a spinal contusion in that game...was eight of 14 for 115 yards with one TD and one interception.
