Before BYU

Attended North High School...lettered three years in football...was named all-state as a tailback...also lettered twice in track and once in basketball...coached by Mike Larsen (Ball State).

Other College

An honorable mention All-America running back while at Snow College...helped lead Snow College to a victory in the Wool Bowl.

The only thing that slowed him was a nagging knee injury...his best game was at Utah State when he rushed for a net of 106 yards- the first time a BYU runner has rushed for over 100 yards since Eric Lane in 1979...against Ohio State in the Holiday Bowl he caught four passes for 31 yards.
