Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, second team all-region and second team All-WAC ... threw two touchdown passes in the spring game, then two hours later got the save against Mesa State.

Sophmore Year 1992

Second Team All-Western Athletic Conference ... attended the Olympic Trials and played summer ball with the Anchorage Bucs.

Junior Year 1993

Drafted in the second round by the California Angels ... bounced back from knee surgery after getting hurt in the final game of 1992 as a quarterback leading BYU to a 7-1 record.
