Women's Tennis Takes on No. 63 Oregon
PROVO -- Ending a two-week break, the BYU women’s tennis team takes on No. 63 Oregon at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts Friday at 8:30 a.m.
BYU (4-7) last played at UC Irvine, recording a 5-2 loss March 5. The Cougars are looking to bounce back with their first home match in almost two months.
Freshman Callie Craig of Orem, Utah, leads the Cougars in singles with a 16-8 record. Craig and doubles partner Megan Price are ranked No. 75 and hold a 15-7 record.
Oregon (7-8) suffered a loss to the University of Utah Wednesday. The Ducks’ last win was against Washington March 11. Oregon's Pavlina Smatova ranks No. 79 nationally in singles.
The Oregon match is BYU’s last before conference play begins.
As usual, admission to the match is free.
