PROVO, Utah – No. 65 BYU women’s tennis (3-2) hits the road this weekend for matchups against No. 38 University of Arizona (3-0) and No. 29 Arizona State (2-2).

The Cougars were last on the court February 6 against Boise State and won 6-1. The squad will look to carry that momentum into the weekend’s matchups with an opportunity to climb up in the rankings.

Arizona puts its unbeaten record on the line against the Cougars as they have won all three of their matches by a combined score of 19-0 thus far. Lauren Marker and Briar Preston lead the Wildcat attack and are both ranked nationally at No. 96 and No. 113, respectively.

Arizona State looks to bounce back with BYU in town, having lost their last match against No. 27 Ohio State. The Sun Devils are also led by two ranked players: Desirae Krawczyk (No. 37) and Ebony Panoho (No. 123). Krawczyk also teams up with Stephanie Vlad as the No. 42 ranked doubles duo in the nation.

The Cougars face off against Arizona Friday, February 13, at 1:30 p.m. MST and visit the Arizona State Saturday, February 14, at noon MST.
