Cougars head to ASU Invitational

PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s tennis heads to Arizona State this weekend for the ASU Thunderbird Invitational Nov. 7-9 in Tempe, Arizona.

“The ASU Invite is always a great opportunity to play good competition,” BYU head coach Lauren Jones-Spencer said. “The girls have been practicing really well these past few weeks so I’m excited to see how we play this weekend.”

Meghan Sheehan-Dizon, Nicolette Tran, Toby Miclat and Morgan Anderson-Littlewood will all compete in the singles main draw beginning Friday. Sheehan-Dizon and Tran play their first-round matches at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning followed shortly by Miclat and Anderson-Littlewood who play at 11 a.m. Second-round matches of singles will be played at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The doubles main draw has not been developed yet and matches will be determined each day at the beginning of play.  Cougars Miclat and Mayci Jones are coming off a finals appearance in the doubles event at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships.
